I was thinking of purchasing this watch, but I would like to hear your thoughts on this watch and if someone has one. For the price and what I have read up on it, it's a very good price. This would be like an everyday watch. Thanks.

It really is a great watch. Gives you a GMT function, has great size and lume. However there is quite a bit going on with the dial and the slide rule. I find it a touch distracting but really gives the watch a pilot's tool feel. you either love it or hate it. I love Eco-Drives and plan on switching my strap out to something waterproof and using this as an all purpose watch.

Yeah, pick-up and goo 200m WR, sharp look and a rare japan only model from what i understand. I really was curious about the strap and deployant arrangement.

I have one and I like it.  I would say it is deceptively light for it's size.  I have a gray market model and the case back has nice engraving.

I have one too, great watch.  Mine is the brown one like yours and despite the fact that it comes with a super high quality leather strap and deployant, I prefer to wear mine on the factory bracelet (which I bought on eBay).

Love the deep engraving on the back and the way the brown face changes colour depending on the angle.  It has alot more depth than pics can capture.  I also like the size of the crystal, very large and substantial looking, while being light and comfortable to wear.  This was the third watch I bought when I started this sickness, and after over 70 watches in and out, the Nighthawk is still here.  That says alot.

I found that my previous owned one was cool looking but not very useful except to tell the time, Great fit, cofortable and light.

If you buy one, get one from the forums not from an AD. Much better price on the forums.

The Bracelet for me was more comfortable than the strap

Cheers

Don't get too excited... I bought mine a couple years ago and haven't seen them since. But good luck anyways!
