Was looking for a cheap beater with the following attributes -

* Quartz

* 44mm plus to suit my 9 inch wrist

* Colourful,interesting,diver (200m)

* Internal rotating bezel if possible

and I found this -

I have seen them in the $82-$84 range which is very impressive for what you are getting.There is also a Yellow and a Blue face which look great!

If you are not satisfied with 46mm try the 'BIG(H2)Oh' range @55mm & 300m depth.

As I live in Australia with a VERY limited choice in watches (seiko,citizen,pulsar,casio) I am always on the lookout for something different and eyecatching.

I would appreciate any advice or comments on the 'Regulator' series and the Body Glove line of watches. I believe they are made by a subsiduary of Luminex.

I've never seen one in person nor know anyone who owns them. But see them online from time to time. This place carries a line of them at what seems to be decent prices.

I've never seen or handled one of their watches in person but the one you have pictured is cool looking, a real sport diver look. hand6.gif

I'm just wondering if that's a proprietary strap if you wanted to change it.  Here's some more info I grabbed at another site. Some info is redundant as it was copied and pasted from different sites.:
  • 55 mm. stainless steel case
  • Analog quartz movement
  • Hardened mineral crystal
  • Screw down locking crown
  • Screw down caseback
  • Uni-directional rotating bezel with surf heat timer
  • Integrated polyurethane yellow strap
  • Water-resistant to 300 meters (990')
  • Date
Movement: Quartz Date Indicator Case diameter: (measured 2-8) 55 mm Case material: 316 L Marine Grade Stainless Steel Crowns: Screwdown Locking Crown Bezel: Stainless Steel Uni-directional Rotating Bezel with Countdown Timer Crystal: Hardened Mineral Crystal Strap: Custom Designed Polyurethane Strap with Stainless Steel Buckle Water Resistance Depth: 300 meters
