All - I recently had about a dozen watches swiped either at the post office, or somewhere in transit. The genius that swiped them had the brains to list them on ebay, and his username is actually his first initial and last name. Please be aware that these are stolen items.

Thanks-
Marc

Marc really sorry to hear about that. Guys like that I'd love to introduce to a old fashion Navy keel haul or bamboo under the fingernails treatment. :X I hate a thief more than most things. :(

so far:

I've reported to ebay. I've contacted the police; they need me to file a report;  I doubt anything will happen.

I doubt I'll get anything back. If anybody has contacts to 'persuasive' measures, be my guest :)

Thanks-
Marc

I've heard of such just to often and after a friend and my brother got riped off 2 years ago I quit using them. They just don't have the man power to police the stuff they have going on there. It makes the local news here often too. Folks being riped off, not getting what they ordered and so forth.

updates:

Columbo (me) has been driving around all morning. After a good talk with my mailman (he truly is the best), he informed me that a person with that name lives down the block from me.

Just went down there; he claims a 'friend' gave them to him, but he will return them all. Will keep you posted.

Thanks-
Marc

Wow...that is interesting, wonder what else he has been doing in the Neighborhood....helping himself to other peoples packages...

You may want to think about using a PO box or something like that?
