When I first read the post, I was like NO WAY would I spend $9k on a dive watch. I looked at the pictures and, well, I stand corrected. I think this one falls into the 'UBER GRAIL' category for me. I've really liked the Eterna dive watches since I first saw them, this ones no exception.

As a dive watch this looks really nice. Easy to view dial and great crown protection. $9K for an ETA 2897 seems just wrong to me. There are alot of good dive watches out there for less money. $9K will buy you quite a few high end Swiss pieces for that. I could have picked up a used Panerai Black Seal a couple of months ago for $4995.00.

Very nice and very expensive. Though if I could part with 9k with out a second thought, that would be on the short list.
