My wife asked me that same question yesterday when the mailman came subtlelaugh.gif
Luckily it was my son's new Marathon Navigator that I got him as a present on his Confirmation.  He liked mine because of the tritium hands for Scout camping, gets pretty dark in them woods, so I figured it would be a nice memento and a useful tool watch.  I didn't bite on two smokin' deals this weekend, Ken's S/A 9G and Hucky's Dievas because I am tapped out too, darn it!

My answer to my wife? There can never be enough watches!  She was not amused... :D

Now, where's my income tax refund!?! toon1.gif

Cheers,
Griff

Griff, I've been on a selling streak...Yellow Monster, SA 9G, MarcelloC GMT, SeaStar 1000...now I have a whole bunch of Seiko, Trias and some Poljot to release.  I haven't found what I'm going to buy yet...but I'm poised.

That said...haven't you spent your income tax refund twice already? :D

LOL, it hasn't gotten here yet!   1st on the list is the Divergraph, then a CWC G10 for my older son.  I have wanted to grab the basic Marathon tritium field watch (quartz) for my younger son for camp too.  If I could get away with it, a Fricker diver (Alpha Time/Jacques Etoile) would be right up there!

Cheers,
Griff

Huckster...I have a GV2 and it is a great watch...as to the LE designation...yes & no...to me a real LE has 300 or less pieces issued.  That said, the GV2 put out a limited edition of 500 pieces for every dial color and dial variation they have.

Bottom line...I think they are great watches, but I wouldn't buy it simply for a perceived LE value.

A few here own one and are pretty happy with them. The design I am speaking of. That one to me is sweet in the PVD with the rubber strap. Hey Gevril name and quality, ETA 2824,,whats not to likeyourock.gif I would not hesitate if I had not just spent what I spent the last few days:?:)
