I see lots of very expensive (to me) high end watches that other 3T members have purchased. I am wondering what is the least expensive watch you have purchased that is still in your collection AND that you wear? My favorite inexpensive watches that get wrist time are these two Stuhrling quartz watches for under $90.00. I wear these as much as any of my $1000 pieces. As I get older the ease of viewing the dial gets more important!![]() ![]()

My cheapest is the Traser P6500. I got it for $100 at LAPolicegear.com. It's has a Rhoda quartz moverment with tritium inserts that are a bright as those on my new Divergraph. Great deal. Oh, and I forgot to add, it came with two second hands as you can see. ![]() Last edited on Thu May 8th, 2008 02:19 pm by Willieboy |

Without question, it is my Alpha GMT; $37 delivered from Hong Kong. After 6 years it still keeps great time with about a 38 hr. power reserve. The sting ray strap was added later as it came on a metal band and cost more than the watch. Attachment: Alpha Stingray 004.JPG (Downloaded 179 times)

Mine I believe would be my SUG Fuse. Already a low price but I scored it at a clearance price. Built as well as any $500 watch out there. Very nice rubber strap on it too. :) Attachment: SUG_fuse03.jpg (Downloaded 172 times)

My brown Citizen Nighthawk EcoDrive. I have both the deployant leather and the bracelet for it, and no matter how desperate I get for fund, I can never bring myself to sell this one. It simply outperforms its price ten-fold. Attachment: FMSS2e.jpg (Downloaded 166 times)

slinky469 wrote: I guess the fact yours has only 1 second hand accounts for the fact you paid only half as much Slinky. All second hands counted though, I think you got a better deal. I have 2 the first is my Orsa Pro Diver I got for $100 Last edited on Thu May 8th, 2008 07:14 pm by Willieboy |

Without a doubt my Bulova Millenia which I grabbed for under $50 some years back and wore the piss out of. I need to put a battery in it and figure out how to once again set it... QUARTZ!! Pretty cool with a moonphase and tide complication which I set to Lake Michigan tides...![]() Second is my Orange Monster which was well under a Franklin and worth every penny and then some. ![]() Honorable mention to my all time TJ Maxx score. A Hamilton Khaki Auto which was in deep discount. ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's a tough one...probably my Vostoks, Komandirskie and Radio Room hand winders. The Komandirskie was $25 shipped and I think the Radio Room was $50.![]() ![]() Also my Poljot Signal, I wear that to my monthly technology committee meetings that I chair. I get a kick out of setting a mechanical alarm to end a meeting about the latest technology :D x ![]() It was around $50 too :) Cheers, Griff Last edited on Fri May 16th, 2008 12:20 am by zippofan |
