Some unlucky WIS is about to buy a fake Fifty Fathoms Aqualung on the bay....funny how the reserve has not been metcoyote2.gif All of the fakes of this version are using serial #301417 and #301069 which this one has....I contacted the seller and received no reply...wonder why?face4.gif

Oscar, if you are sure of this you should email ebay about it.   I have emailed them about fake tractor listings in the past and they removed the auctions.

this is posted right on eBay's reviews and guides section for any would be buyer to read....and it is a excellent tool for finding fake Fifty Fathoms....see bottom of page and they also state about the fake Aqualungs and the serrial #'s usedhand6.gif

someone did make a Big mistake coyote2.gif....if it were genuine the seasoned collectors would have been all over this watch and it would have brought a Much Higher pricehand6.gif

      Now a Fake Fifty Fathoms shows up on WUS but everyone is smart enough to avoid it like the Plaque!....it shouldn't have even been allowed to be posted imho mistake.gif

I read the ebay guide, and think I see what you mean.  I also did some online research.  From what I can tell, none of it really looks right.  The bezel insert seems wrong, I can definately see the hands are wrong, and the movement as well.

Thanks for the lesson.  One thing I've learned around here: always post what I'm going to buy if I'm not familiar with it.  If it was fake/franken, I know someone around here could help hand6.gif.
