Hi All,

A friend of mine is looking for a watch (he's looking at both auto and quartz) and asked what I thought of the Triumph Motorcycle watchs.   I believe they are made in the far east by Solar Time?  Anyone have any experience with these watches?

Here is one model he's looking at:

Thanks,

David

Tell him to stay away from Trend Watches. My experience at purchasing fun trend watches is that they only become useless as time goes by, waste of money.

If your friend wants to purchase a watch on a budget of say 199.00 dollars then buy a Luminox watch and forget about it.  You can find used luminox's all day long on the forum boards.

Timex is a durable brand that keeps on tickin too.

Hes purchasing from  his heart instead of his mind and wallet.

Cheers

David,

I agree with Huck, stay away from those, Luminox is a great watch on the quartz side, i own several, if he is looking at automatic you can get a great Vostok-Europe auto for under $200, and it's kind of cool to own russian watches.

Thanks guys.

That is what I figured.   I will pass it along.  I did previously send him a link to the Vostoks.
