Hey everyone,

This site has been a blast to a novice watch watcher...hand6.gif  I am lacking in basic watch knowledge. To that end, where can I read articals about different types of movements such as mechanical, automaticmanual winding, quartz and etc.

Are some quartz watches more equal than others (is an Omega Quartz better than a Pulsar?) and why? Are  new manual winding watches a good buy?

I know these are some basic concepts, but I would be forever grateful if someone could point me in the right direction!!snoopy1.gif
