I was wondering about the quality of the precista watches... how do the compare to the other brands around? Is timefactors the only place they are available? The only review I have been able to find was less than complimentary concerning the quality of the watch when compared to its price.

Any advice is much appreciated- including suggestions about alternatives in the "vintage looking dive watch" department.

Thanks,
JLYRGR

You can't get better service than Eddie will give. All of his watches are well made and for the most part unique. He used to use Zeno but now all of his products come from Fricker.

If you use the search function at 3T you will find tons of information regarding Eddie's watches. Here's the most recent thread on this subject... chock full of pix!:D

Thank you. I was looking for slightly more in depth review. I enjoy the pics and summary statements very much. How precisley do they run? (real world reviews... I have been able to look at the timefactors web page as well as know some of the basic characterisitcs for the ETA movements they are using.)

Precista is one of Eddie Platt's brands which are sold only through his web site Timefactors.

Head on over to the timefactors forums and go to the reviews subfora. plenty of reviews. I own almost every model Eddie puts out.

Quality?  YES!!!  Accuracy?  YES!!!   ...and with a little patience, you don't have to pay the "new" price.  Visit the various Sales Forums and pick up a preowned Precista!
