Help, Has any one seen, owned and destroyed one of these movements? I have recently found them in replica watch sites, did some looking and found conflicting reports.

Do you thing this is China's answer to the eta shortage?watch2.gif

They have been around for awhile. The china clone 7750 is a crap shoot movement like many other movements from there one may be total junk the next one OK.

But there have been several watch companies to use them. There is one in this Chrono I have that so far has been working fine. Makes for a good Chrono beater watch. ;)

Yeah the beater part is really what i am interested in, I really like chrono's but I am a electrician, so most of my watches get beat on! How old is the watch you were talking about? The reason I ask is one of the articles I read talked about a newer generation of asian 7750, this was better build , clutch and tension is better, (like how i played that off, like i really have a grip on this!) anyway, thanks for your help.

Don't know how old the movement is but the watch I believe was built within the last year and I've had it for about 4 months. When messing around in the yard or doing chores around the house it is one of 3 watches I'll go to most of the time. My G-Shock gets the most beater time wear though. ;)

I owned a Chinese chronograph, from day one it would loose 5 minutes turns out it actually stopped for a while a few times a day. And right now its no longer working due to the fact the rotor fell off. T movement itself even looks cheap as though it was made out of nickle or some other cheap metal. To bad because it was a nice looking watch. the watch lasted all of 3 weeks and i purchased it about 4 months ago, I would not waste my money on them, unless your a gambling man.
