WZ0351FD is the model.

Found this on Seiya, and it looks like a great watch. Has anyone purchased from there? How do they handle customs? Other thoughts? Is there an Orient( for sale in the U.S.) equivalent?
Thanks in advance, you guys have the best judgement and taste in watches that I've found!

Js...like the post says, it comes down to personal taste. Both are fine watches. the Sumo has a more traditional look, hacking movement etc. want one myself I also like the bold look of the Orient, Very robust and unique look. Power reserve is a nice feature, date at 9 and the bracelet looks very nice.

Comes down to personal choice.

Have no fears buying from Sieya.

Good Luck with your choice.

Don't know the costs, but from a looks standpoint, I like the Orient stainless bezel better than the Sumo...from a movement standpoint, I believe the Sumo uses the 6R15 which is a higher grade movement with a slight higher beat rate, which hand winds and hacks.

I also think the Sumo is slight larger at 45mm vs 42.5mm.

Tough choice!

One of our members (Canadajo) will have one of the 200m Orients in hand shortly so we'll soon have a first hand report.

Thanks! I'm fast becoming an Orient fan. I have 2 of the Mako's and they are a lot of watch for the money. Where did Canadajo get his(if it's new, of course)?
The Sumo is not for me, but that guy had such nice pix of the Orient, I just wanted folks to see the watch if they hadn't already.

photos courtesy of kew

The Orient doesn't hack or handwind but it is more accurate than even the 6r15 and the Orient and Seiko have the same beat rate at 21,600bph.

I think the seiko is a nicer looking watch but when I get the 200m Orient in my hands I might feel differently!

Nice comparison pics. ;) Both are on my list but likely no time soon unless I see a insane steal of a deal on one or both. LOL :D

Teddy

I'm trying to hold out until they are available in the US, I am having a hard time waiting though!

I find the OS 200m a bit fugly, I am hoping it looks better in person!
