Look at the white on the top and bottom.  the idea is to give it a cave look with stalagtits and stalagmits on the top and bottom. I think it would be a real cool case back.  The stalagtits and stalagmits can be raised up on the case back.

WOW, an optical illusion.  All I saw at first was the black blotches.  I thought I was back in the insane asylum taking Rorschach test.  Heh Heh (oops, did I say that out loud)

Anyway, I see it now.  Pretty cool.

Wow, not sure how I initially missed this post, but I wanted to chime in.  First off, I'm really liking the design of the Cave Dweller and am looking forward to seeing more pics of where you're eventually going to take it.  I like the HRV, but for those that don't, maybe a compromise could be reached by having an HRV like the Stowa Prodiver that doesn't protrude?  Also, I'm glad to see you're leaning towards hands that are completely lume filled vs. just the top half as shown in the first design.  Either way, I'm totally in when it's ready to go.

As for the Number 2, even though the case has been used in other watches, I would buy one in a heartbeat if you guys decide to move forward with it.  Personally, I think having the Boschett indices and blue lume would set it apart from the other versions that are currently out there.  I know you guys have your time and resources invested in the Cave Dweller, but I really hope you decide to produce this one sometime soon as well!!

What kind of case back are you going with?  back where the design is etched in or something where the design will be raised?

We are open to suggestions and will explore and evaluate all possible application methods with the manufacturer.

I think the pic is really cool Slinky and it would probably look really awesome on the back as you stated with the top and bottom raised.  You could also raise "Cave Dweller" in the black area. Or put the LE number there. jmo...

I would make the 3,6,9 rectangular and keep the 12 marker as a triangle to set it apart.  I love the look of that dial! And the HRV I think is a must. I think it adds a lot to the watch.   Also what about a lime green second hand and 1000m for a little 3T love!
