Hi all

Before I went on my 3 week globetrot (see Travel Ticker post) I dropped off my vintage Tudor with my watchmaker.  This watch has sentimental value to me, but has unfortunately been abused in a previous life before I became the custodian. Nevertheless, I used to wear it daily for about 3 months a year for 8 years while guiding clients on hunting expeditions in Africa.  I would really like to restore it to its former glory, but I need the following:

Tudor Prince 7928 with Tudor Movement 390.     Minimum required parts:-

 Ratchet wheel and circlip.

Both reverser wheels.

Rotor with Pinion.

Mainspring.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Rolex South Africa says spares are no longer available....:(

if Rolex couldn't locate parts it may not be very easy a task....an entire parts 390 movement just sold for $660. on the Bay and here is a link for a cal.390 with complete dial and hands but $$$$$.....depends on how much sentimemtal value this watch has for you as it may cost less to find another Tudor 7928 that runs well but is in bad shape and use it for partshand6.gif

Thanks for the feedback.

Obviously I will have to draw the line somewhere........

Just hoping I'll be in luck without throwing an arm and a leg at the watch...............:(
