buy an Orbita....it will be the last winder you will ever need....rated one of the very best if not the best in any price range and fully programable with a huge database....when Patek Philipe needed a winder for the $1,000,000.00 Stars & Moon tourbillon they went to Orbita to build onehand6.gif ....I have 2 SWI winders....complete junk, and these are the ones in the nice wood boxes....a single and a double...have been sent back twice and come back the same everytime.....the watch holder is made out of a cheap plastic cup covered in cheap felt and have damaged 2 of my watches due to them hitting the top glass because they are a cheap pos....Scot...Sorry Buddy but it seems you have been watching too much Slop and listening to the con man Jimmy Sniffles ![]()

Hopefully I will have better luck. Just with the invictas. As long as I dont have any troubles I will buy them. I know the more I buy the odds of getting a pos get higher. I guess I am stubborn and like to find things out for myself. Nothing ventured, nothing earned. As far as slop, I wasnt listeng to jimmy. I remember you saying in an earlier post that Lior was a stand up guy so I figured I would give it a try as its his company that sells the winder.

Lior is a good guy but his winders leave me wondering why he would even sell these...as far as Invicta your chances of getting a bad one are greater than good and then you will have to deal with the very worst CS on the planet :D.....for a couple hundred you can buy an Orbita and have a winder that will last forever.....the other winder I have always reccomended is the Steinmart winder which I use on lower end watches....$30. ....it's a bit noisy(quieter that the SWI) but does the trick and Overstock has thosehand6.gif http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Personal-Watch-Winder-for-Automatic-Watches/1659644/product.html

2ed the Orbita. I had a SWI and it went dead after 7 months and got loud after just a few weeks. Another brand that is not to bad and more affordable is the Eilux. ;) Check out our friend The Watch Prince. :)

Orbita Sparta the only winder I would put a nice watch on and not have to worry about it placing undue stress on the movement. Any other will require you to know the exact requirements of the movement and then program the winder to it's needs.

If you are bit more adventurous and money is not a problem. I suggest check out Scatola del Tempo these are high end watch winders. Cheers, Simon
