I don't understand the companies mission statement?:"Our guiding philosophy is simple - we have to be different to be better!" I have not seen a O7 that was not a copy or homage to some other brand or model....what have they made that is so different? face4.gif

Typically, they have screwed you on price and movement...but that's just my opinion.  There are people who like Bathy's, too, and they are equally unethical. (Bathy's...not the people!:D)

It was announced long ago that the SW-200 would be the movement, the same used in my Debaufre Triton.  That movement has been trouble-free so far and and I expect the same from this one.  So far the watch has gained 2 seconds in 24 hours.  Not bad! ;)

The 58 click bezel was a bit of a surprise, but given that the bezel action is very tight with almost no play I can accept that.  I have (or have had) many a watch with 60 or 120 click bezels that have slop to them or which are slightly misaligned, so that the the triangle is either slightly off the mark or can be moved off of it easily.  With this 58 click bezel the amount that the triangle is off is very, very small at the worst point.  Sure, it would have been nice to have those 2 extra clicks but I'm not too upset about it.

I know this watch isn't for everyone and that's fine.  I for one love it!

I've never understood the allure of this particular model. There are people that just go ga ga over this watch. More power to them I guess. I couldn't wear it as a desk diver, but could see it being worn for serious diving.

Why thank you, sir! thankyou.gif

I should add that the lume on this watch is simply amazing.  It puts my Omegas, Doxas and the mighty Seiko Monster to shame.  I showed it to my 5 year-old son and he thought it was the coolest thing ever!  For some reason he loves stuff that glows in the dark... ;)

I believe his exact words were "Whooooooooaaaaaahhhh!  Daddy, THAT'S the coolest watch EVER!  Now let me see it in the light.  Whoaaaah, its STILL glowing!!" ThumbsUp02.gif

is it my imagination but after everyone waited so long for this watch it seems a gang of these LM-7's are being unloaded big time in just a short period of time after receiving them and owning one!face4.gif

I dunno... I still like mine!

...but I've noticed that, too.  Maybe people wanting to make a quick profit?  It really is a nice watch.

Had the same type discussion with Hucky and CJ, O. Same old O7 dial and let's not forget how much WIS tastes change in the long interval this watch took from concept to completion. You gotta strike while the iron is still hot and imo the long delay in the watch's realization contributes greatly to the high turnover rate...face4.gif
