On my Accutron VX200 I have a problem with the crown not being able to screw down .... Its just not going to screw down as it seems there is nothing to screw down into ... it just pops back out ... I read on my warrenty papers that there's a 2 year warranty .... Should I contact the seller, or just mail it to an Accutron authorized repair place ??? Has anybody else had this happen , because I know quite a few of us own this watch ....Any suggestions ???

My VX200 has no such issues. As for your next step, I'd go to the seller (if the seller was an actual Accutron Retailer enforcing the warranty). If this was a second-hand sale, contact Accutron for their warranty repair protocol.

I haven't had this problem with my VX-200, though if wound tightly the crown doesn't want to screw in easily.

I had this problem on my Bernhardt Sea Shark and the crown tube was stripped and had to be replaced.  Hopefully they will take good care of you.

If memory serves Ken C had to send in his 7750 for service and Accutron/Bulova USA was on top of things.

Mine has always taken a little fussing to catch the first thread, not as precision as my SMP or a Tissot diver I once had. Sorry to hear yours is not working.
