Excellent read E and great ideas from a high end manufacturer!hand6.gif

....sadly though are the thousands of watch buyers and WIS who are wearing fakes believing they are real as the replica market has expanded to watches that most would not consider as luxury brands like Oris,Limes,Glycine and Fortis to name a few which are being replicated including box and papers and sold as genuine...very hard for an average person to distinguish and most jewelers as well! :(

The funny part is I had a discussion with someone that thought they had an original Fortis that I found out was a fake by his description.  He was very educated and understood the basics of engineering, but did not understand that he had purchased a fake.  He believed that Fortis had designed an inferior product.

They repaired the watch even though it was not one of there production.  I would not recommend anyone to go down this path.

Have a good day.

For a normal guy like myself, it would be hard to tell the difference.

It appears to be getting harder to buy a watch on the 2nd hand.
