owning a Korsbek OE I would say it is a great choice but only available on the secondary market now hand6.gif

....if you are looking for a real tough diver that has 3 different looks than I would highly reccomend the Kazimon Eintausend...comes with the black bezel and optional SS as shown with a thrid bezel design in production....all 3 bezels give the Kazi 1000 a truly unique look and of all the divers I bought this year it is the standout in this price range by far with all the goodies you would want in a diver plus imhoyahoo.gif

Thanks guys...I found a Korsbek in OK condition and am speaking with Enzo Mechana about one of his old EM001's, but it doesn't look good so far, they are hard to find!  The Kazimons are a bit pricey for me, but if I can find one used it may be a possibility. I have a Sinn U1 that I am looking at, used as well, but also over $1200...not sure if it is worth it.

All those above you mentioned are good watches. If going for a Formex or O7 might want to look for a good deal in the secondary market. The others are already reasonably priced and allot of watch for the money. I have a few of those and one i may target next is the "Boschett Cave Dweller" and later down the road the "Benarus Sea Devil" may have to join my collection too. You can't go wrong go for what pulls at ya the most at the moment. ;)

It seems to me that there are a lot of very talented and creative watchmakers for us to choose from these days. A couple of watchmakers that I find fascinating are Bill Yao and the folks at DWATCH. I spend way to much time on their websites designing/customizing their watches to match features that I want in watch. IMHO both watches are reasonably priced.

At one time I had one of Bill Yao's MK II MMT Blackwater divers and it was a great watch and I got lots of compliments on it. In a moment of weakness it went away in trade. You all know how that works???

I don't know anything about DWATCH but it appears that they are going to build some unique watches. They have a cool website!

Are there any other similar websites where you can design, build and then see the PERFECT watch???

Anyone know where to get a Kazimon from?  Gnomon has nothing.

Also, any experience with Dievas Oceantimer 1330?
