Hey All

so I'm looking for a new watch

it need to have the following features

diver timing bezel, chronograph, easy to read and use chronograph

automatic or quartz if fine

also I would like it to bee under 500 dollars, I will be banging it around.

I have a Divergraph and I'm happy with it, but would like something new

Might be a tad more than you want but you could glean the site to see if you can find another you like. But this is well below retail and said to be a rather good quartz chrono diver. If I were into quartz I'd love to have it but a die hard handcraker/automatic fan. Check it out. ;)

I like the suggestions so far, keep them coming,

I dont understand the minute timer of the chrono when it only goes to 30 min?

why is that?

Darned if I know, but you'll see all sorts of variations. 30 minutes is pretty common. I've got a Seiko kinetic chronograph that goes to 45 minutes. Then, there's the ever popular Valjoux 7750 automatic mechanical chronograph movement that has a 30 minute register and a 12 hour register. Every time the minute register times a complete 30 minutes twice, the hour register clicks to the next hour. I'm sure it has to do with how simple or complex the movement manufacturer wants to go with each calibre....

Hi, I don't have any scans, but I've owned several Seiko chronos over the years to include a Seiko SNA225.  Great bang for the buck.  - Red

This Ollech & Wajs ID3066 Chrono looks like a close candidate.

But its a little over $500. But IMO the best valued chrono in the market. How else can you get a Swiss Made chrono with Valjoux 7750 for under $1K.
