seems the rumors and factual accounts of ShopNBC having their share of problems due to the recent economic situation faced by many and plummiting stock prices have forced them to file bancruptcy...rumored at this time but the source is very close to the company and watch industry and ShopNBC has been making arrangements for returning watch orders to the distributors and respective watch companies as of today! mistake.gif

Looks like existing stock is being lowered as well with some pretty good deals from what I have seen.... hand6.gif

The yoyo effect that has been going on though has hit allot of companies from many different types of business and industry. So crazy. :?

I actually ordered an OGIII Meteorite the other night.  I've been wanting a meteorite dial for a long time now and it was a preety good price.  We'll see if I get lucky and have a pristine, functional new watch when it arrives.  Pray for me!  ;)

I actually just discovered shopnbc by accident, and ended up buying a Croton Aquamatic in blue for $50, the last one they had.

For that price, a good enough deal. Sapphire, s.steel, quartz of course, 20 atm. Decent enough as I didn't have a diver of any type.

Watch is in good shape, but shipping took forever.

Now I can wash the dog and know what time it is as well....

Well, I hate to gloat at anybodys financial failure ... yes, they did sell a load of crap, but they are responsible for bringing quite a few ppl into the real WIS community too.

Onloading or not, I just purchased an Invicta Pro Diver Wave (swiss, Sellita 26 move, yatta, yatta, yatta) for $299.  The retail showed $1295 (which I know is bogus), but still $299 for a 300M swis auto diver is really a nice price.  I got the silver wave dial and chocolate bezel.  Free S/H, 5 year warranty...really not a bad deal.

I'll post a pic once I get it
