Ever since I saw that I have been watching the 917 and 921 on ebay, I really need to pay some attention those would make great movements for a couple homages!

Man, I need to get a hold of one of those myself. I had a few Waltham pocket watches a few years back. That 917 is nice and yes, it would be really cool in a Panny case. hand6.gif

Q&D with my compact cam ....movement is nicely decorated and mint....this pic does not do it justice....I have a few Panny cases...a pvd and rose gold Radiomir cases and a traditional pvd Panny case with crown protector....I'm thinking either one of the Radiomir cases will work hand6.gif

I think probably any size 10 will fit the panny homages, would love to try it sometime and see! not sure about subdial placement there may be some differences there but for a base model that wouldn't be a problem!

This watch that Eric posted was actually built by my friend Pete...he is also the guy who built this watch for me, including the movement mods, and is finishing up a 47mm Destro with this custom DLC'd 6497 for me....I'm going to the NAWCC Mart next weekend to try and score some 917's and 921's cheap....

I've always preached the "Hamilton Gospel", you've just given a great example why!
