Does anyone in here have one of Debaufre's beautiful 48mm LE AUTO's and, if so, what do you think of it? ...

IMHO, it looks like a REAL nice tribute to the 55mm LACO original:

I don't have what you featured but what I own is a DeBaufre 48mm Nav-B UHR in Unitas 6497, handwind. They are pretty good. Very well made, extremely high aesthetics, soft and supple leather strap and head turners. The only debit is my watch advances about 2 minutes per week, not bad really if you count 120 seconds in a week that's roughly 20 seconds a day. There are 86,400 seconds a day thus the Unitas performs acceptably well.

My brother owns a DeBaufre Nav-B UHR in 44mm ETA and he is happy with it.

For your info, I am seriously thinking of getting a Steinhart Nav B-Uhr LE in 47mm with this month. Debaufre has run out of their Nav Bs. I just checked a little over a week ago directly with Jon D.  Debaufre, by the way, is a sister company of Steinhart.

Hope this helps.

120sec./week = +17sec./day ... NOT Too Shabby!

... BIG Congrats on your new Debaufre!

Anyway, why don't we ask Günter Steinhart to give us a "two-fer" price on a couple of "Steinhart Nav B-Uhr LE's in 47mm" ... ??? Seriously!

FYI, the one I want (besides the LE AUTO) is their Nav B-Uhr GOLD LE HW 6497 ...

Oh, 'lest I forget to mention it, I DID manage to 'snag' a BNIB 47mm Nav B-Uhr LE 2824 AUTO! ...
... it's the "Große Flieger Beobachtungsuhr" depicted on the right below ... ...

I have #159 Debaufre and I love it. Keeps excellent time when worn. Its still in my rotation and always gets some stares and questions when worn. One of my neighbors is a commercial airline pilot and offers to buy it every time he sees me wearing it. I always decline the offer. Can't part with my LE. I should soon be getting a camera thats worthy enough to take a decent photo of my watches and I'll get some pics of all my LE's.
