LOL, I know who the giver was, definately a pompous short schmuck at best, sorry for your misfortune Mylady, but wear it with the utmost contempt for that reason, you should have gotten a Sinn instead from a bigshot like he thinks he is.

if he gave her a Sinn then for sure we would have been questioning it's validity! subtlelaugh.gif

I gave consideration to the thought that by giving me a man's watch he could hold the fantasy that I was a feminized young male instead of what I truly am...a WOMAN!subtlelaugh.gif  I can think of no other reason why a man would give a woman with small wrists a man's watch....can you? And you guys are right if he had given one that was of higher value it would surely have to be questioned to be sure.

No way that watch could be real.  No way.  Gotta be a fake.
The one that gave it to her is a fake so it only makes sense
that the watch is a fake.  That sound reasonable?
I may be mistaken, but probably not, that it was given by a forum
owner/operator far away from here.  Moto racer?  Nope
Rich?  Nope.........educated with a Masters from MI Uni?  Nope
Computer expert?  Nope..........Concert Pianist?  Nope.
The only legend he has is the one in his own mind.
Maybe his "concert buddy" believes it.
No way that watch could be real Beck.  Nothing else is.
Good to see you Dan.

Hey Jim so glad to see you here party.gif...and lol you may be so right about the giver...but you missed a couple of his claims to fame....custom auto painter, doubt it....photographer, not bad but not professional...I wonder if he has Sybil Syndrome (ya know multiple people in the head....only one body). I guess I need to find someone that really knows these watches to look it over and make the call on if it is the real deal or not (if it is I would be surprized considering it's source of origin, but maybe I am just being a bitter female).

Thanks for the welcome Becky, nice forum with nice people here, thanks for the
invite.
I don't know squat about bitter females, or bitterness in general, but I do know
when buying a watch and its authentication, always consider the source.  You know
the old saying:  "buy the seller" or in this case the giver.  I don't know a lot
about the Bulova but knowing where it came from its probably got more
baggage than an airport, that immediately puts its authenticity in question.
Knowing of the so called "Bigshot" that gave it, he is incapable of telling the
truth under any condition.
Three faces are not nearly enough to describe that hucksters multiple personalities.
