My trusty Datejust/Jubilee was bought in 1973. Has been my main watch always but the bracelet is very loose, mine is a made in U.S.A. bracelet with solid oval shaped links instead of half moon shaped. 1. Where can I get it serviced, and what can I expect to be done to such an old watch? 2. What about the bracelet, it has done its duty...what will a real one vs. a fake one cost and will the after market one be just as good? 3. I want to keep it...for sentimental reasons, still a handsome machine but if it is working adequately will the expense just be that, not an investment but an expense. Try East Coast Jewelry....I have done business with them since 1992. I have my Rolex, cartier and Breitling serviced there and the charge for a full service has never exceeded $200. I believe they employ at least 9 Swiss trained watchmakers. http://www.eastcoastjewelry.com/repair.htm

Just a thought but if you have had the watch since 1973 perhaps you might want to spring for a Rolex overhaul?? It would cost a few bucks but they would make the watch new again.:D
