Because the second you flip the lever, and pull out the crown, your watch fills with humid air, and gets condensation in it. ...sigh...where is my case opener again? least i got to wear a kilt ')

Really? That is wild. Best of luck with that. On a side note it is cloudy, windy and 69 here.

sorry to hear but wearing them in the water is not a great idea either...just another sterile replica :(...the older automatic eta versions were at least 3atm water resistant :D

what I am trying to say is these watch cases are just like the Marina Militares which are nothing but a replica that has been accepted by most for whatever reason on the forums...they are not o-ring or gasket protected and are 2 piece cases....what looks like a one piece case with a crystal and a caseback is not...the beveled edge/bezel that surrounds the crystal will pop off from the front ....crystal and all so there is no water resistancy and what you found out ...no humidity resistance and unfortunately that is the mark of a not so well made watch or replica :(

there are plenty of very well made Panny homages out there but you have to know what to look for in the under $500. range .... for the most part the higher end models like the Precista Italiano or even the Dievas homages are using much better cases imo hand6.gif

Bummer but kind of funny... no offense... We are in the midst of a hot and humid spell and I am almost tempted to take my inexpensive homage out back to see what till happen if I do the same.![]() Funny, O the Marine Diver auto I picked up from you is rated 6 ATM. Seems an odd rating?face4.gif

Mark...the Marine Diver you have is 1st generation from 03'-04' and I have worn mine in 98 degree humid weather in Fla. without problem...even when we had that group buy back then 03' when the IWI Marine Diver came out we questioned why the watches and crown assemblies shipped seperate and the vendor installed the crowns and guards...that was what we were told was the hold-up on delievery if those who were involved remember....we're a bit smarter now! :D
