About Candino: In 1947 Adolf Flury-Hug founded Candino in Herbetswil, Switzerland. The company didn't make their first watch until 1956. In 1954 Kurt Flury joined the firm by opening a sales office in Biel-Bienne,under the management of Armin Flury. By 1956 a factory was constructed in Herbetswil which had 80 employees. Hi Shady and thank you for the comments. Initially I thought my watch was 29 mm in diameter. I re-measured it again and it's 30 mm x 42 mm including the crown. I also kept on thinking that it was a 1950 model,that too has wrong. Its a 1956 Candino,men's mid-size. Cheers, Simon
