That is a very good looking watch, but $4,000 to $8,000 is a lot of watch buying money for a new brand, you can get some top brands for that much.

Depends how you look at it...if you are brand driven and absolutely must conform to this then yes,it is a good chunk of cash.

However,if you buy a watch becasue you like it and are satisfied with the quality, then its not so silly. The Supermarine is superbly engineered (as are Bremont in general) and is pack full of technology (case hardness,Faraday cage,Bremont anti shock) so you get a lot for your money.

Also, from my point of view, you buy into a brand where the brothers (Nick & Giles English) are really enthusiastic about their watches and are WIS in general. Plus, having met them they are genuine blokes.

Nice watch but the 4 to 8 grands is abused: My point of view....At this price, I buy me a great inhouse from a reputed watch-maker. Specialy if it's closed to 8 grands.... If Zenith or Relax would have act like this company from day one, what would be them prices practiced now? You could have just dream of a deep-sea sea-dweller before 12 grands... No?
