Is it me or the PTSD...nothing seems to have "grabbed" me since I saw the proposed Debaufre NAV GMT.  I feel glutted with Divers and don't see much new comming out in the same reasonable price ranges  on pilots and military pieces! mistake.gif

Haven't seemed to find anything I want in months!!!!....and I really do have some good meds!subtlelaugh.gif

I agree Ken, and I'm not even sure it has anything to do with price....I have not seen anything recently that is not similar to other watches I already have crap.gif

I'm with you guys.

I just keep waiting for an Omega X-33 to "happen" at the right price. And with the Aussie dollar creeping back into the 86 cents US category and possibly higher, I am getting closer...

The Dievas Vortex is a nice one. But you are right, Ken, there is a lot of sameness out there and despite the great deals offered, I just find it hard to pull the trigger. On the plus side - there sure are a lot of good "same" looking ones coming onto the market. ;)

Hang in there, mate - a deal, and the next "must have" will surface. They always do.

Cheers - IanM hand6.gif

Something you gentlemen might want to consider is the Seiko SBDX 011 1,000m. Sells for about US$2,378 and made of titanium, ceramic and stainless steel. It doesn't need a helium escape valve because of a unique seal system. I think it's a very superior and technically advanced diver. I can't seem to get over my love for diverssubtlelaugh.gif

The only thing I don't like about it is the rubber strapmistake.gif. Scrawny-looking.

Hey O - 3T is my substitute watch mag! I don't think I have seen a dedicated watch magazine on the shelves of the Australian newsagencies in about 10 years...

Told you I was a lonely WIS... mistake.gif

Cheers, Graham. It seems we are almost a unique bunch in our respective countries of origin! Just joking - I don't feel THAT special :? :D

My sister recently returned from a holiday in Hong Kong and she gave me a masterpiece of a book as a pressie. It describes and depicts what was at the print date the most up to date listing of prestige watches on the market. I had a blast reading from cover to cover. Pride of place in my watch storage area.

But for the daily fix - I extend a hand of thanks to the www. It is a rotten enabling thing, sometimes, but it is invaluable for research and for the like minds and good characters we have been lucky enough to find.

Have a great day, Graham! And cheers to the great gang at 3T, because IMHO there is no better way to learn, look, and occasionally buy, than with the fair assessments of the watches, deals, prices, and manufacturers made by the folk here.
