Been looking at this for a while, really like the style.
What do you guys think and what sort of price should I pay?

I guess if you really want it, go for it. It's really about what you want but have you checked the other Longines style in a round case with leather strap? It's very thin and very formal. I can't remember the style but I have seen some guys wear it and from a distance can look like a Patek Calatrava 3919.

Being a quartzie though may have its drawbacks but the style and design are ok with me, not high on the list but ok. Longines is a good brand for sure and their quartz lines are very dependable.

That would make a good office watch and will slide pretty well under the cuffs.:)

It's very classy: Certainly looking good with a dress... I, personnaly, would not give more that 300 buks for a quartz with steel case and non chronograph. But I don't buy quartz anymore anyway: The soul of the mechanic conquered me;)

This is a very pertinent comment IMHO Jose, the Citizen has the same style, about same size, sapphire crystal and echo drive system, which is way better than a regular quartz IMO, since you will never have to change batteries and it can keep an autonomy of 6 months with full charge!!!  Ha! yea, I forgot to mention...
It's $4999 !!!!!:shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:

Crikey! $49 - I'd buy it and see if I like the style first before spending serious money.
