Well, I have purchased several watches in the last 3 months, some Swiss, some Chinese, microbrands, daily deals, etc... Currently waiting for 2 Parnis and Dievas Vortex #77. Over the last few weeks, I have been less and less interested in the daily deal sites, and more and more interested in other kind of watches. For some time now, I have been thinking about a GMT watch, and have been about to pull the trigger in several, but pulled out. Today, I think I visualized the GMT watch I want: the Coaxial movement Omega Seamaster James Bond 300M GMT. I think it has many things I want, including exhibition caseback, color and dial texture I like, GMT, diver's look. water resistance. Maybe the only thing it lack is exclusivity, as although I have not seen many of these in the GMT flavor, there are plenty of similar looking Seamasters out there. So, I want opinions on this watch, and on the coaxial movement as well. This site is a great source of knowledge and experience. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

This might not be what you want to hear, but I have not owned this watch. I however owned a quartz seamaster, and shortly a coax cause I NEED it. I love this watch so much! For me, the watch is fantastic. I love the design, the color, the shape and the thickness. It's bigger than a rolex sub, but not monstrous like my Breitling avenger skyland. I think that the GMT is just a bonus feature on the watch. My first gmt watch will be the Benarus worlddiver I think. I don't need the gmt except for work. It will be a great traveling work watch. I think as far as exclusivity goes, it is an Omega. Lots of people will have a seamaster, but not many will have the gmt. I mostly buy watches for me, not for anyone else. I, like probably everyone else here, will stare at my watch and not even notice what time it is. :) The seamaster I could never stop looking at. Especially at night. the lume is fantastic!
