I'm looking at a gunmetal Grand Diver. My collection consists of mostly Stainless watches so I'm thinking about adding some darker colors for more depth.

This is what I'm looking at

My experience with Invicta has been pretty good. Their divers are good solid watches. I wouldn't buy any watch from Shop right off the bat because the price will come down in a few months. But if you're happy with your selection and the price, go for it. BTW nice choice

I got sniped on Ebay grrr OH well I was nervous going with a brand I didn't know well.

I kept looking and found a Seiko Kenetic in black with a buy it now cheaper than the Invicta went for. I have two Seikos and love them both so this was a comfortable purchase.

Well done for the Seiko!  I had 2 Invicta's  Grand Diver, orange, blue and I have to say that I liked them a lot.  It's a massive watch with nice heavy bracelet. The radiant blue dial is particularity nice.  But, the bezel is the week link on this watch.  No grip, too tight... Anyway, I ended up selling them all because of that... A shame IMHO, because It's a very nice watch.  Probably worth it anyway dough, still impressive timepiece with good movt for the $$$, I'm just very picky on bezels and it was driving me crazy...
