As a WIS and a habitual shopper I look at the Deals of the Day and similar sites. One often sees offers for well known brands-yes, but very often for very obscure models of the well known brands. Very frequently watches (with unknown to me) very exotic sounding names with a tint of Italian, Swiss, German, etc. or something similar on the face, that may lead one to believe that they are actually from some very hidden place in Europe. Then they say that the watch is WR to unreal depths, keeps almost atomic time, and many more virtues---all of this is ok, one as a WIS can for sure discern if the offer is good...what really puzzles me is why they say that the MSRP is $2,500.99 and they offer it for $29.99 delivered?

That's funny!!subtlelaugh.gif

What I really like, and i don't even know if it is still done, are the eBay Chinese watches with Euro sounding names that direct to a web site that give a long story as to the exalted history of the brand and an insane MSRP.toon1.gif
