You're 25,000 feet in the air, traveling 500 miles per hour.. Quick! Read the chronograph on your Hamilton Khaki Tachymiler H71726213. It's easy to see at any speed with its bright white dial with silver toned subdials-featuring a tapered scale on one of the counters. While color-coded pushers on either side of the crown keep your activation accurate, a strong 44mm stainless steel case keeps your Valjoux 7750 movement safe-even through tough turbulence.

After a stunning debut on July 1, 1974, the Valjoux 7750 took the world of luxury watches by storm. At the heart of its success-including an automatic-winding module that winds in one direction by means of a single double-click wheel-is a reputation for accuracy and reliability at a modest price. It's no wonder the Valjoux 7750 is now the most well known and widely used Swiss made chronograph movement today.

I'm pretty sure that if you're registered with Bing! you will get another 15% off today.

That makes the price $425.  Less than the cost of a new movement!

Brice...agree...these are very cool pieces...I was looking closely at these when I bought my preowned Hami X-Wind.

The X-Wind covers the more classic ground for me, but the Tachymiler is something different...more modern...and a purposefully sporty flair!!!

    I like these alot!!!ThumbsUp02.gif

That is a fantastic deal for a new one!!!!

    Bing! is Microsoft's shopping portal.

I should clarify that the 15% is a cash back arrangement, not a discount at checkout.

You must get to Ashford through Bing to qualify.

    (Egads.  Fine print...)

Go ahead, get the watch.  You know you want it!  :D

Microsoft maybe should have used Google to discover this, from the New Your Times:

In Mandarin Chinese, the official dialect of China, the syllable romanized as bing holds many meanings, with the most common being ice, frozen and sick — hardly associations one would want users to make to a dynamic and nimble search engine that seeks to challenge the global industry leader.
Web users in China often ask the question, “Have you Googled it?” If we now replace the name Google with Bing, the question would sound like the common Chinese query, “Are you sick?”

    :P
