I really want a PAM Homage (IWI, Dievas, etc.) and/or a big divers watch like a Boschett Cave Dweller but I'm worried about them being comfortable for my smaller wrist (6.5"). What are your thoughts and experiences?

Welcome to 3T.....my wrist size is not much larger than yours and every watch I wear today is 44mm plus in size.....I might suggest purchasing one of the asian homages first, before spending money on one from IWI, or Diavas, you can buy these for less than $100 and are not bad watches.

Once you are comfortable with it you can always buy a better one later.

I agree its a good idea to try an inexpensive version at first. Its a personal preference and how you like the look of a large watch on your wrist as much as how comfortable it wears. Won't know till you try one!

They wear comfy if you have the right strap and they sit nice due to not being too thick..... but they look silly big on some folks...  I think the advice above is good, get a cheapy Asian homage first and keep it for a while and if it sticks with you then upgrade to a nicer version.

I have a Marine diver from IWI and three chinese homages. All very comfortable on a 6.5 wrist. I changed the leather strap to a PAM bracelet on the diver and it lays perfectly flat. I get comments all the time. The one I can't wear is the 47mm RXW. As a matter of fact is being sold.
