Well then I am going to enjoy this watch as long as it runs. Fit and finish are very nice and unlike PAM chinese reps, I have ,the movement is smooth and accurate. Glad to have the watch for $400 not $1500. Frankly the burled box is work a couple of hundred. Thanks for the education guys. That's how we get smarter

Ehect, Ball is good. Ball Hydrocarbon is a decent choice. Just note that tubes last about 10 years only and that may be a factor for you to consider if you want to hold on to a Ball watch long term. On the tourbillion, just my opinion and surely I'll get rained with lots of star knives, arrows and spears on my comment: I'd rather spend my cash on some other complication. One doesn't really need a tourbillion if you seriously, seriously think about it. William and Oscar make lots of sense about the origins of some of these brands. Hope this helps:P (ooopppsss I see star knives heading to me ![]()

I kind of agree with you Jeff....One can survive without tourbillon:D Seriously: It's a beautifull and entertaining complication when it's visible but it was concieved to run on pocket watches and those are standing in the pocket most of them time originaly. Meaning that the tourbillon got his best efficiency on accuracy of the movement when it stand vertical. The problem is that a wrist watch is far to be sitting vertically most of it's time... Concluding that the efficiency of the tourbillon is far to be optimum on a wrist watch. BUT! Some manufacturers took the tourbillon to it's optimal fonction by making it gyroscopic or simply explained: Following gravity and thereby beeing allways vertical;) So if your tourbillon is gyroscopic, you exploit it optimaly....If not, you don't... So noone should throw ninja-stars to Jeff ![]()
