It's difficult selling over the Internet, some people keep their watches in mint condition so that they can continue selling and trading, while other wear their watches as if they are going to keep them.  People then have different expectations of what a second hand watch should look like.  It is certain though they you have gone out of your way to ensure that he is satisfied, and in that you can leave the situation with your integrity intact.

I didn't but trust me when I say there were significant scuffs etc on the links and bracelet. That pen is unreal. And easy.

I think you went above and beyond the call of duty here - in my 'for sale' ads, I will always use a short disclaimer - you are buying the watch as-is, blah, blah.... and I always try to include as many pictures as I can...

My perspective is that this is my hobby, not my business - I'm a little more relaxed when dealing with watches.
