I've been looking at watches for a while now but I haven't found a watch that grabs me and I have to have it no matter the cost. I like the watches I have now but I haven't drooled over any of them for months. So how do I know if I've found my grail watch?

This is just good for you Philip.  I haven't found my grail yet and I'm happy I didn't.  I know it's going to be expensive when I do so, not in a rush...subtlelaugh.gif  There is still plenty of affordable watches I want before going for the grail but I feel the urge of getting close to it, there is a few nice ones out there hearteyes.gif  Good luck finding yours, and I'm sure Mark is right, you'll know when you find it!

Is it bad to have the Rolex crown float by when you are dreaming?

Only if you wake up when you go to grab it!

This is exactly it, I saw a picture of the Baume and Mercier Magnum XL and I was smitten. then found it at a store and tried it on and it was game over.  All that's left is to fill the piggy bank so I can get one.

You'll know. But remember that there can be more than one over time. You'll also need to take in to consideration the qausi-Grail, the ultra-Grail, the uber-Grail and the ultra uber-Grail. Not to mention all the little flings with other watches in-between. :)
