So http://watch.1saleaday.com/ has a "polcie collection" watch for sale and I'm vaguely interested if anyone can identify the movement.  The price tier makes me think it's chinese but it looks unlike the chinese movements I'm aquainted with.

Any help?

doesn't look bad for $90. but I wouldn't expect anything more than a inexpensive Chinese movement Patrick....can't really tell which movement it is from the pic.;)

That is definitely Chinese.  Poor pic, but the rotor is typically Chinese.  The specs are very silent on the movement itself!subtlelaugh.gif
Those complications are definitely not available on Swiss or even Japanese movements at that price point.

It appears to be a Sea-Gull ST 25 movement which is a fine movement in it's own right. A good price for that watch IMO.

Thanks for your information guys.  I think I'll pass, I've got enough chinese movements at this point and am trying to broaden my swiss and japanese movements primarily.

Great deal for the price. I have 1 Police watch and the build quality is pretty good.

Reminds me of some of the Trias multi-functions with a different dial numeral style.  Not bad for the price
