I'll be picking up an Omega Seamaster Bumper Wind in Stainless Steel on Monday,
that has a brand new black crocodile grain leather strap.

I know some of you had appreciated my effort in the past with my Movado,
Tempo-Matic on dark brown Crocodile Strap.
However this time,I've been racking my brain in trying to determine the
best route to take without breaking the bank.

I would prefer a Bead Of Rice Omega Bracelet, but the price
of one is out of my reach.  I've looked at ZRC aftermarket replacement
bracelets, which are of fairly high quality, but some of them are a bit
too modern looking,for a 1954 vintage watch.

The described watch is identical to the image below...
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Size: 36mm x 40mm
Lugs: 18mm

I agree Simon, with the look of the aftermarkets not meshing well with the vintage. I cant vouch for their merchandise but I've been told cool watch straps has vintage items ...give 'em a look...I love that Omega!

I had a vintage Eterna that came on a beads of rice bracelet that didn't fit.  I went with German mesh and I loved it.

Great looking watch Simon bravo.gif IMO I would stay with a strap, personally i like the vintage watches better on straps then bracelets ThumbsUp02.gif what color is up to you, I think that watch would look great on a black or brown strap...CONGRATS on a great snag

+1

If it was my choice; I'd leave that on leather. Black or brown would both look great.

Congratulations on finding that one!

We like it; but more important is that you like it. Wear it in good health!
