Welcome Nikaiyo! From my side, I would choose a mechanical/automatic watch in front of a quartz.
So if I understood well, you hesitate between a 2824-2 and a quartz ETA...
I like both cases but I must say that the cushion case of the Magellan appeals me a bit more...
I don't got any of them but I would go for a Magellan for the movement at first and also the orange face is an undying classic...

That's another great option at a great price...the Magellan has the ETA movement and the higher price reflects that

Lol I think it will come down to that!

My head is saying go for the Magellan, but the Q just looks amazing with the blue face.

Think its going to be the Q, mainly because a Stev O stap will look the dogs hammer.gif

Magellan I would go for with the Orange face....hang on a minute I already have one of those on order subtlelaugh.gif

I would lean more towards a mechanical automatic than quartz but thats just me, I would also suggest checking out Artego as suggested above, although not a swiss movement its a great divers watch and if you were mugged you could use it as a weapon, its one chunky monkey of a watch I love it.

Artego

Deep Blue

And you know the Irreantum Magellan is going to be amazing.

Let us know what you go for and good luck with your choice. Oh also welcome 3T you will love it here.

I have just noticed that Benarus Ramora at the top of the web page, that would be a great choice to!!

LOL I know mechanical is always my favoured movement, I am swaying towards the Baliha'i...
The Remora looks really cool, and the Artego in your pics looks much better than on thier website, tbh I looked at their site ages ago and discounted them... your pic is making me think again.

CRUX Cx4, how cool would that look on a NATO strap...homerthinks.gif

Grr
