Yea not bad at all. Amazing how much their prices have gone up in the last 2 to 3 years.

Yes I fave noticed Russian watch price rises over the last few years also, at those prices you start to think of a Swiss option instead.

The prices may be rising but when you look at the Russian manufactures using in-house movements it is still a great buy IMO

Neo, I spent a few minutes looking at this one. It lacks something and I just can't place it. Looks like a Graham though. You are right though ---- at those price points, several Swiss options present themselves.

Interesting looking Russian. Very instrument like but not my cup of tea, Neo. And that's a steep price. But then again I don't love the Russian watches the way you do.

It's interesting, it's just not for me... The red and green almost look like one of my daughters toys. Not sure about it.

It is meant to mimic the controls on a jet fighter joy stick, no its too pricey for me but I like the look of it. Just wanted to see what others thought of it.

It's a bit gimmicky for me...I also agree that it is over-priced for a 3133 watch.

I still think that a good normal Vostok is always a good choice and normally a good price too. Poljot (Volmax) seem to crank the price up a little to high I think. The thing I like about Russian watches is that they are good for the price but not at $1000 I would buy Swiss around that mark. Also Invicta have a great line of watches that we could choose from.

Poljot used to be very reasonable. I have had several and I still have my "Red" Flying Tank which I love. But the 3133 is an Russian copy of an antiquated ETA/Valjoux movement that still lacks a quick set date complication...I don't know what all the other "goodies" are hanging on the side of that piece, but Russian over $500 is no bargain. I also agree that Vostak is good. I haven't priced them recently, but still own Vostok-Europe K3 Submariner. Gotta take exception to the statement that Invicta has a "great line of watches" though. They did, but that was many moons and many business ethics ago!!!
