It's Friday and I'm sitting at home today. In the interest of killing time I decided to make this post. Sorry if it has been done in the past. I didn't feel like digging anything old up.

For me it's my SKX173. It was my first automatic and Seiko at that. It went with me through the police academy a few years ago and has never skipped a beat. It has also been through a few scuffles and has scars to prove it.
I will never let go of it. It's constantly reminds me that childhood dreams can and do come true. party.gif

I haven't experienced that yet. I've had several that I didn't want to give up, but circumstances dictated a different scenario.

Not even one? Surely one stands out above the rest.

I'm sure we have been through this exercise but I'll play.
These 2 are keepers for me:
Doxa 750 T

VIXA Type 3 Chrono

It's always been a trade off for me. Which one did I want more? For example.... The Submariner was my grail for the longest time, then I got an itch for an Explorer II. I worked a trade for that Explorer using the Submariner. I've had 2 rollies, 3 Omegas(ref 2254, 45mm PO & Speedmaster), 1 Sinn 256, 1 MK II Stingray and those are the better known ones I've owned. I've either sold or traded them all with the exception of the Speedmaster. I'd like to own them all again and will recommend any one of them to anyone who asks, but I learned a long time ago that if I let myself get too attached to material things then it just makes me miserable. If I had to pick any one watch to keep for the rest of my life it would be a tough decision.

I don't think I'll ever sell my SMP that was first owned by zoo keeper Jack Hanna and I have a sentimental attachment to my RGM Flieger.

It seems like I say that about every watch I've owned... But if I had to pick one, it would be my Doxa 750T Sharkhunter.

The two watches I always refer to as "keepers" are my Speedy Moon watch and my Breitling Steelfish.  However, the one watch that I never wear but refuse to part with is my old Invicta Premiere chrono that I was wearing when my first son was born.

I was also going to say my Doxa 750, but then I realized I would only really keep my Hamilton pocket watch, mainly because it has my initials engraved in the back.

This would have to be the one I would never sell. Was my great grandfathers. Over 100 years old. Still working.

My Parmigiani. Bought as a gift to myself after a big business deal, worn only once "outside of the house" on my wedding day.
