What tools are needed for a beginner watch bench? I understand that this is not an original topic, but I would like to run though it one more time just for kicks. Most Important a place where you feel relaxed and can leave your work if you just have to walk away from it. The correct mental attitude is required. Tackle box to store things, little storage cups are handy also. 1) case knife & press for snap back case 2) Screw back case opener 3) Case holder & Movement holder 4) Hand pullers would come in handy from the posts I have read. 5) Magnifiers (eye loops) start with a B&L 4x then you may want to move to a Bergeon 10x 6) Spring bar tools & push pin tool (removing push pins) 7) Watchmakers screwdrivers 8) tweezers 9) Case refinishing supplies (polishes and abrasive blocks). 10) Light much more than you think you need. 11) A good mm ruler or Micrometer.
