Hey guys! First post here. GREAT forum you have! cool.gif Thanks Scott for introducing 3T to me! ThumbsUp02.gif

Some of you guys probably have seen this watch before and seen me ask about it. Since I'm new here thought I'd ask on 3T. Does anyone have any info on my Philip Watch Caribbean 2000 ref 709 with a smooth numberless bezel? Never seen a 709 or 709-1 with this type of bezel except for a ladies version I saw on the Bay a while back. Here's my watch...

The underside of the bezel looks like it came from the factor. It doesn't look like a mod job.

Here's the ladies version I found on the Bay. Looks just like mine.

I can't figure out why would one want a numberless bezel on a diver watch. I really hope this bezel is original to the watch. Any info, vinatge ad's, photos of other similar watches is appreciated! Thanks guys!

that's a sweet watch Chris!...Phillip made many models of the Caribbean with different depth ratings, and case shapes,as did Jenny,Aquadive, and various other manufacturers,my guess is the same manufacturer made them all,and branded them. Here is a link to a thread here back in 09'with about as much info as I could find out there by Alfa-Watch,he hangs out on the Orologiando/Italian forum, and there may be a few topics on these watches there as well, your Phillip resembles the middle Jenny in the link pic...ThumbsUp02.gif
