I know this is the wrong thing to do but does anyone know anything about the Corvette watches.  I think they use ISO movements.  This one has screwed together bracelet.  I live in Corvette City the GM plant is huge here so that is the only reason I would consider it.  I like the blue dial.

His price on the same watch is $298 and this is the only one with the screws in the bracelet.  The only problem is the car I want is black convertible with a cashmere top and the sport package.   Have a friend or 2 at the plant.  The watch I like is Le-mans Blue.  Yes I am most definitely a car guy.  But seriously the tech. on that one bracelet looks familiar and I just can not place it.  Having a hard time putting any money in a quartz that is no a Ventura.  If you look at the mag. image. at long island it is looking even more familiar and it is driving me nuts I just can not remember.

I Don't Think after Buying the Vette Eric that a Quartz Watch Would Be Fitting :P You Already Have the "Right" Timepieces from what I have seen of Your Collection To Wear and Compliment the Car IMHO His price on the same watch is $298 and this is the only one with the screws in the bracelet.

Hey. Hope this isn't inappropriate. (feel free to delete if overstepping).

I'm actually dumping the Corvette line. No real reason - they are high quality, use the ISO movt, and are beautiful. They just don't fit my lineup. I'm offering 35% off all of them now on an unadvertised e-newsletter special. If you want to take advantage of it, just enter Clearance on checkout (also applies to all Elysee watches)

Thanks-

Marc (Island Watch)

E......................it is outstanding.  I own several Swiss Made Trias (nowhere near the amount that mcwright has, though).  I think $ for $ it is the biggest bang for the buck you can get in a Swiss product.  ETA and Unitas movements, nice heavy Swiss cases and fantastic fit & finish.............and Marc is the guy to buy it from!!!
