Hello Friends, It's been a long while, since I've last written a post dated back to 2017. For starters I took early retirement from my job, as an Authorized Dealer for Longines and Rado in April 2018. I still own my 1971 Rolex Ref.1601 DateJust, my 14kt Gold Girard-Perregaux Ref.1791 and my 1955 Wyler-Vetta Incaflex in stainless steel. However, a new addition caught my eye but hesitant to pull the trigger. The timepiece in question is a 1966 all stainless steel Omega Seamaster Ref. 165.002 Automatic Caliber 552 no date in original factory Champagne Dial with Applied Indices and original crown. (see image). Measurements: Diameter: 35mm Length Lug to Lug: 41mm Depth to Centre of Crystal: 10mm Lug Gauge/ Strap Width: 18mm The Kicker? The price is $750 firm with no service history. As everyone knows, that I love vintage timepieces but this one is a definitely a "Maybe". Cheers, Simon Attachment: Omega 165.002.jpg (Downloaded 9 times) Last edited on Wed Feb 5th, 2020 10:06 pm by Simon_Leung |
