Costs more to get it to you than me.  Just a little bit longer trip by a mile or two.  Do you have to pay import tax?

Amazing - in my hands like 6 days ago, now in yours in Singapore. I enjoy all the modern conveniences of life, but I still think the logistics to get product across the globe is amazing. I've got a watch that I fedex'd to Kuala Lumpur on Monday - should get to the guy TODAY; and they're a half day ahead of the US.

Anywho, Singapore is one of the best countries to import watches into. The worst? Canada, UK, Russia. Canada charges like 30% of retail value - ridiculous. You'd think it'd be the US; but they have the most defined system (for commercial folks like myself on autos, it turns out to be 'about' 9%)

I got it. Thanks for the clarification. Ken is a bit sensitive sometimes (he says so himself :D). He'll probably nail me for saying so too. :D:D:D

Mike................let's just say I responded to the author by pm.  As far as aggressiveness................I did make a statement allowing for possible misinterpretation due to language barriers.:):):)  I guess my problem was that I understood the post as written...not as intended!  Oh, well.........just a bad hair day, I guess!:P
