I bought an Invicta last year to see what the fuss was about...I found for myself that Invicta stands for all I hate about big business......It is about the quick dollar and nothing else...The company has NO integrity or character....

Sure, I'll chime in. Back in 2002 I was looking for a skeleton pocket watch. I went to my local Tourneau Watch Gear, and they had the one I was looking for at about $150 (Invicta Skeletonized). Much more than I wanted to spend, so I hit the web and found one for less than half the price. 4 years later it still works like a champ. I'd say even at 150 it was a deal, but at 75 a super-bargain. I haven't bought any Invictas since then - no particular reason. Let's not forget we live in a world where a company in Switzerland takes a stainless steel case, drops in a $10 quartz movement, puts a diamond at the 12:00, leather strap, and sells it for $300 (hello, Movado). And most of the parts are made in Hong Kong (FACT). So we should also be realistic when its not just one brand "selling out" I'm off the soap box. . . time to get some zzzz's.

We understand IW, but being a company that moved from Miramar area and was in the watch sceen, Invicta is an easy target because of the first hand knowledge. We do not have to depend on second hand info, competitors info, or even customers complaints or blessings.
