Hi Folks - The only choice that we can really offer is whether you go for more or less expensive. I have just finished speaking with the dial company - we CAN put the limited edition number on each dial - this will amount to an additional fee and will put the price closer to the outer limit of $575 - how does everyone feel about that? The way the watch is looking now is: Black dial with the logo in either the 3T green or white - our dial assembler has indicated that it would have to be a VERY light/Bright green to accommodate the black dial. The minute or hour hand is going to be "re-lumed" to the 3T green. Is there a preference towards white or green for the logo? White will stand out better, but I also realize the desire to use the 3T colors! Please as a group decide on the logo color - they will get as close as they can to the 3T green, or they will go with white - based upon your decision! We are rounding the corner and heading for the finish line, so please be aware that we are now already half-way through September! Your friend at Orsa - James Henderson Orsa USA

My input is that the 3T color would be great if they can do it. The number on the dial is fine but the # engraved would work for me. The black bezel would work and give it market recognition to one of your other limited designs and make the watch look larger. The price should be kept as low as possible due to try to make it affordable to the group and make the #25+. With a little bit of experience in design the watch sounds great and thanks James putting the time in. I can not wait to recieve the Silver Surfer either, you seem to be a man committed to your trade or side job. Thanks again.

I WILL GO WITH THE MAJORITY SINCE I AM ONLY A PFC IN THIS MANS ARMY.....I PERSONALLY WOULD PREFER A NUMBER ON THE DIAL....THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO BUY SOMETHING THIS UNIQUE AND SPECIAL ........I AM NOT GOING TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT AN XTRA 25 DOLLARS WHEN IM ALREADY TO SPEND 550 OR MORE.....I DONT WANT TO BE SORRY LATER ON....EITHER WAY I WILL BE HAPPY AND PROUD OF MY LIMITED PERSONAL ORSA

I don't mind if it is engraved or on the dial. But I'd like to see what it would look like in a SS bezel. I do like it the way it is, but I'm always open to suggestions.

Just my 2 cents.............dannbc avatar of the Alba is a perfect example of how I would like to see it. The 3t green second hand, NO logo, with LE #/25 engraved on the caseback. I would prefer people to ask me about the watch so I can tell the story.:)

I have to whole-heartedly agree with Oscar.........anyone ever heard the old adage "Too many cooks spoil the broth"....? Everybody has their own ideas for the "best" design....that's why we have so many different watches represented on this forum. The whole idea here is to have a true LE watch that those of us who have supported this forum can own as a commemorative. I would sincerely recommend that we let James and Oscar work out the design or possibly 2 (I'm sure most all of the suggestions/ideas have been made ,heard and listened to with cost in mind) and then let us know what it is (perhaps a vote if there are 2 potentials). Then.................all I want to know is how much it is, when delivery will be and where to mail the check!!!!! O.A. Gaspar wrote: O.A. Gaspar wrote:Tony Duronio wrote:

All I asked for was a pic of it in the SS bezel that james suggested. If that was possible. I have not seen an ORSA with a SS bezel before and woundered what one might look like. I don't believe I would like it as much as the colored ones-since I believe they are GREAT looking (resembles glass they are so smooth looking) Im game for anything that you guys finally choose. I like the fact that it will be limited to us (SPECIAL). Last edited on Fri Sep 15th, 2006 09:22 pm by daanbc |

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me................I also would like to see that (as you can tell by a previous post I made)..............Even asked mcwright if he could photoshop it for us.

Ken,Oscar, Sorry if my post has caused an issue here. I can only assume that , since my quote was used in both responses. I will wait for the final model and make a decision at that time if it will be something I will participate in. Tony..........did not mean to use your quote, just Oscar's....and I really did not mean to offend anyone, if I have.....that wasn't they intent or the real issue. To me, it just gets confusing. I understand that we all have specific tastes,a nd we would all like to have our ideas considered.....and I think they will be as long as they fit into the cost/time framework we are looking for! I, personally, would like to see the cost kept as low as possible so that it can be affordable to all who want one....to some of us the cost is not an issue....to others (well, actually their wive's:D) it is!

OK. Here is a QUICK and dirty bezel layover in photoshop. No, it's not perfect (not even close). But, it should give you some idea of the look. The photo I grabbed the bezel from was taken at a totally different angle. But, I didn't want to spend all night trying to find a better match. :D:D:D:D Attachment: silverorsa.jpg (Downloaded 68 times)
